Without a doubt, this is one of the most important or the most important competitions.
The story is rather long and has been told many times before...
Two ships, "Pride" and "Ikra" were racing just for fun one day in September 1981, the coastal route was the starting point of the tour Portalet (St. Tropez) to join the "Club 55" (private beach in the Bay of Pampelonne) where Patrice Colmont handed the winner an impromptu cup called the "Club 55 Cup".
